The Flight (Poem-14)

the flight to Neverland... On a cold and rainy October night The pilot made haste for flight To his origin, ("Neverland", he said) And then soared into the night. It had been several years since The pilot left Neverland And although he seemed to move on The townspeople deemed him sad. He never spoke much about the place, Yet would often dream about His youthful years in its greens And the liveliest folk he'd never seen. His dreams gave off hues of grief But nought gave off his face, Whenever the young man would be asked On cue, his heart would race. He didn't have the brightest years Back in those spritely greens He lost more than since, has gained, And yet, there, he longs to be. A little while after his ascent, that day There came a rapping from behind When he ventured to see, who the causer was, Was appalled to see a mere child. A tousled boy he was, and nothing more; The astonished lent him a hand The pilot asked, "So, where to?" The boy softly said, ...

A Sinister Temptation

He's gaping, and he's waiting.... In the little neighborhood of Griffin Street, the children are told not to go out of their house after 6pm.  It is because of the local folklore about a stranger, a power or a creature. It is an unwelcome entity. It is said that the creature has a liking for kids. Their tender skin, their innocent souls and confused self's are what lure the creature to consume them. According to the stories so told, the creature eats their bodies and fuses their souls into him, making him stronger. There haven't been any recorded sightings of the creature.  Mainly because no adults have seen the creature, and no kids have survived to tell the tale. However, the attacks of the creature haven't been recorded in the past two years, since the curfew 6pm was made mandatory. Children didn't listen at first, but they soon obliged, as they started to notice some of their dear friends missing. Their bodies were never found, just few drops of their innoce...

The Painting on the Wall

A painting couldn't mean much, right? I was sure that there was a painting on the wall. I was sure of it. Even though my parents ignored me, or looked away whenever I spoke of it, I knew that there was a painting on the wall. I even remember that it had a dark green contrast. On this green painted canvas, there were sketches of three women with curly boy-cuts. They were so real, sometimes I'd find myself staring blankly at them. Sometimes these women scared me. They looked kind of eerie. This painting, of whose existence I was so sure of, used to hang on a wall of this corridor in our old apartment. I had nightmares about the painting and often woke up from my sleep. But my parents were never there to console me. I remember it so clearly, yet my parents walk away when I mention it. My parents don't usually talk to me, though they say my name out loud sometimes and then cry about what a disappointment I am. They wouldn't give me anything to eat, so I used to sn...

The Abnormal Horror II

Twice the level of spookiness this time!   The Abnormal Horror: PART 2   In  2020, in a technologized town, happened an eerie incident.   Evilinn was a town in the corner of a galaxy called Vampalaxy. It was a strange incident that happened one day. King Euron was checking his “enemireader” to find if there were any enemies, but, as usual, the town was quiet. Yes, there was one strange sight that could be seen.   There was a black spot on the reader, which stood for ‘wild life danger’. And guess what! They were  … were … Wait a second! It looked like a pack of 10 wolves … no 20 … no 30… Oh dear! They were almost 1,000!   King Euron quickly set his army. He had a doubt. Why were the wolves attacking them? He would surely find an answer to his question, but when? The king sent one of his messengers to see. And, guess what! They were WEREWOLVES!   However, the messenger did not return.   The king sent one more messen...

The Abnormal Horror

In the year 1981, in an unexplored town, where nobody lived, an eerie incident took place.  On a new moon night, a king named John and his entourage, came to explore the town. He decided to stay there for the night and thought of building a castle over there.  At night, the villagers who had come along with the king heard strange sounds. However, they did not pay any attention and slept. In the morning, about 100 villagers were found dead. Who killed them, was the question. King John and his soldiers went to explore more.  Suddenly, they heard a loud cry for help. Help me! My king! Please help me! Something interrupted the voice. Then, they saw in that direction and could guess the cause of it all. It was a blackish - purple creature with a black fur coat. It had sharp white canines and believe me, they were extremely sharp. The sight of it was very scary. It disappeared in a second! It looked like a VAMPIRE.  The following night, again another 40 odd villag...
